It's April already and by another month I would have been here in the States for one year already. Its cool here and I'm like I can wait for 4 more years to go back to the Philippines. Life has become easier and it took a while, but I've already adjusted.
Still in college. I am working right now on a nursing degree but my focus lately is my transfer to UCLA. It's gonna be difficult but yeah, 2 years of intense studying and I'll probably be able to wing it to enter UCLA. Dream big! hehe But, the classes are getting harder still. I am taking Anatomy and Physiology which is so cool but difficult because of all the memorization.
Also, Im working part time too. I am a caregiver for Alzheimer's patients in a memory care home. I earn 8.25 an hour and work 24 hours a week. Its a tough job because you do everything for these residents. Some are incontinent and just poop all over the place and its my job to clean it up. But, after a while you get used to it and its necessary experience to becoming a doctor or even a nurse.
High school is the time of your life when you should be making your lifelong friends. I learned that the hard way in college. Its much more difficult because you switch classmates every term and you dont get that much time together not like when you were in high school. Winter term, I always hung out with Aurianna, Matt and Dorothy who were my Biology posse. But, we have different majors so we have different classes to take. Good thing Dorothy still with me in Nutrition and A&P which is great because i need the extra help getting that A. |

This year I've been busy!
In January I pulled ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) marktan_17's hair (-5 points). In July I gave mik_convi a kidney (1000 points). In April I didn't flush (-1 points). Last Monday I bought porn for luigiyambao (10 points). Last Wednesday I gave rafr a life-saving blood transfusion (50 points).
Overall, I've been nice (1054 points). For Christmas I deserve an Easy-Bake Oven!

well, right now everything's fine. exams in a month. as of now, i got all A's in all of my classes. still trying to keep up and connect with all of my classmates. I dont know. I just dont want to lose the connection so that someday when i meet up with them we can be good friends. but, its really hard with the distance thingy so i dont know about that. I may end up with a whole new set of friends which btw is very sad and happy? family is doing good. But, i really need to get a job that pays good 'cause Christmas is approaching and daming reregaluhan. planning to go back this spring which is March-April time. but dont know about that yet. we havent really settled settled here. baka five years pa :( wanted to go nga to graduation or even just the mass in the morning. pero, wala daming complications. i guess that i'll just get to meet by chance all the people that im supposed to meet if ever i come back. |

college is fun.
i only go to class three times a week. MWF schedule.
math teacher looks like mrs. banasihan. "kaibigan" already.
english its ok. teacher is ex frustrated soccer player. astig.
psychology well my teacher fell down the stairs. classes cancelled! haha
that's it.
classmates well, i've only gotten around to sharing homework. cheating i dont know yet.
co-ed. so first time having a girls all around me. blondes look all alike.
"whatever" and "like yah" seem to turn up in every conversation.
i have met the true conyo. hahaha conyos back in the philippines dont compare.
still get a little tongue tied with my english. but it's getting better. massachussets and britain.

I went to the zoo last thursday. Astig kasi nakakita na ako ng polar bear!! haha at penguins! ang cute cute tignan nung penguins! pero ang baho nga lang ng mga cages ng animals. Only downside late na kami nakadating sa zoo kaya tulog na halos lahat ng mga animals. Pero astig pa rin kasi first time din makakita ng iba.
Animals i got to see:
tiger, wolf, crocodile (up close), baboon, elephant, peacock, anaconda, tree kangaroo, grizzly bear, sea lion, otters, lorikeets, bald headed eagle, sheep
ang saya dun sa aviary kasi walang barricade in between sa inyo nung mga lorikeets. Ang dami nilang dumapo sakin. Bumili bili pa kasi ng juice cup tita ko yan tuloy nag swarm sila sa amin. Mukha kaming mga tanga. Ang ingay ingay namin. baka naman kasi kagatin kami ng mga ibon. ung mukha nung bird keeper sa loob (wtf??!) hahaha pero ang saya kasi sakin mga lima ata ung dumapo na birds. sabi ni james mukha daw ako kasing tree na mataba.
ung polar bear naman mahiyain pa samin nung pagdating. pero exactong exsacto pagpasok ko dun lumabas siya sa tubig kaya ako lang nakakakuha ng magandang pic sa min lahat dun. (will be posted sa friendster)
ung wolf maangas eh di lumalabas. pero nakatingin lang siya sa yo ng matagal parang lalapangin ka na. nakatingin din ako ng matagal para maangas rin.
first zoo experience. ung field trip kasi nung prep di ko matandaan. kaya parang first time ko pa lang pumunta. kala ko boring pero astig din ung nakakita ka ng mga animals na hindi mo makikita kahit kelan sa pilipinas. |

malapit na magstart school ko dito. kinda nervous but excited kasi at last regular na ung paglabas ko sa bahay. halos wla ka ng magawa sa oras mo dito. buti na lang may tv. friends the best!
yeeay! nahanap ko green card ko! naiwan ko sa locker ko sa school pala. from 6 in the morning ba naman ung test mo di ka ba nun mapapagod.
decided on my course. nursing as premed. tapos, kung di tamarin magdodoctor ako. sabi nila 12 years para maging doctor. ayos by 29 doctor na ako dito. pero as of now, college muna tapos kukuhanin ko ung nursing assistant course for 2 months. para maiba naman trabaho sa gardening...
2 days ago, dumating ung pinsan ko galing pilipinas. nag start na ng college sa UP pero nag leave of absence. medyo nainggit lang ako kasi well off na siya. tapos na insecure rin kasi sa university of oregon siya papasok (college leading in bio stem cell research) tapos ako community college lang. kinausap ko mom ko tapos sabi niya not to worry kasi lilipat rin daw ako sa university na gusto ko pag mataas grades ko. pwede naman daw mag transfer.

dumating rin fiancee ng kuya aj ko galing pilipinas. bilib nga ako kasi going strong kahit long distance relationship. open ung line of communication nila kahit magkalayo. magpapakasal na nga yata eh. vegas wedding kasi kelangan para sa visa nung fiancee. haaay kilos pinoy talaga.
well, dahil sa pending marriage ni kuya, napa isip isip rin ako sa kasal. naisip ko na i cant marry someday without raising some eyebrows. pero i hope na i'll find the girl who'll make me go through all that all for her. gusto ko talga magkaanak someday na hindi adopted. |
